Dining Out makes me feel a certain way...

Usually it’s the food. Sometimes its the service. More often than not, it’s the people I keep company with that make me feel alive at restaurants. If you’ve ever felt energized walking into a restaurant and have an interest in food and drink culture, we should talk.

My love of dining out - and then writing about it - started in the Marketing Department of Zagat. As a child, reading through print versions of the Zagat guide introduced me to the idea restaurants were a place that could be analyzed, reviewed, and shared with the world. So to get a job working for Zagat was incredibly rewarding, even if my job was calling up restaurants to let them know the Zagat plaque they displayed in their window was in fact a knock off. (long story but when your brand gets big everyone wants a piece).
